The Rosary – Monday – Saturday at 9.40am, Sunday 12noon at the Grotto.
Lenten Reflection Time – Come and join us each Sunday of Lent at 6pm in St. Patrick’s church as we take some time-out for reflection, commencing this Sunday 18th February.
Call for more Eucharistic Adorers – Fridays We are blessed in this parish to have Eucharistic Adoration in Donabate Church each Friday, currently from 12noon to 4:30pm. This is such a special opportunity to come and spend some quiet time with the Lord. As our team of regular adorers is small, we would love if more people could commit to spending some time each Friday with the Lord. If you can commit to 30 minutes or more each Friday between 12noon and 4:30pm please contact the parish office.
Maranatha – the second of our 3 special Confirmation preparation Maranatha events takes place on Friday next, 1st March, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm in St. Patrick’s Church and will also be broadcast on our parish webcam ( https://churchmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-donabate ). We will be particularly welcoming our Confirmation candidates and their parents to this Maranatha where the theme will be the Our Father. As always, we remember in a special way all our young people at Maranatha as well as bringing our own intentions. If there is anyone you would like remembered at Maranatha this month, please email the names to firstname.lastname@example.org by next Thursday if possible.
March Family Mass – Sat 2nd March – Our next Family Mass will take place at the 6.30pm Mass on Saturday, 2nd March, in Donabate. We would be delighted if families can participate on the 2nd – please spread the word! Any families wishing to join the family mass team can register their interest by emailing email@example.com
The 9 day Novena of Grace to St Francis Xavier begins on Monday 4th of March to Tuesday 12th. Prayer cards will available on the table centre aisle.
Blessing for Expectant Mothers – To celebrate Mother’s Day, all expectant mothers are invited to receive a special blessing at the 11am Mass on Sunday 10th March. Seats will be reserved for expectant mothers and their families.
World Day of Prayer will be celebrated on Friday 1 March 2024 at 6.30pm in the Church of Ireland, Donabate. The Theme: “I Beg You Bear with one another in Love” All welcome. Contact 087 1542059 Tea after at 7.30pm.
Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock 2024 The Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock, led by Archbishop Dermot Farrell, will take place on Saturday 27 April from 11am to 4:30pm including Mass, Anointing of the Sick, workshops and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This year is the celebration of 145 years since the Apparition at Knock. The “Choir of Many Voices” will provide the music again this year and new people from across the Archdiocese are welcome to join. First Holy Communion Rosary Beads and St. Theresa Prayer Cards and medals are available to purchase at the parish office.
Monthly Family Mass – invitation to get involved – Little reminder that our monthly Family Masses take place on each First Saturday of the month.
We welcome parents who are interesting in volunteering.
We invite any family wishing to participate in the family masses to register their interest by emailing email@example.com A WhatsApp group has been setup to assist communication. Please include a phone number in your email if you wish to be added to the group.
