The St. Vincent de Paul will hold a church gate collection this weekend 22nd/23rd March. Your support will be very much appreciated.
Supporting those journeying towards the Sacraments – During these weeks of Lent we continue to ask you to keep in prayer Talita (preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation as an adult) and our 4 older children preparing to receive the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, as their preparation to receive these Sacraments intensifies.
Get to know Carlo – a Saint in his teens – Donabate youth group invite young people aged 13-18 to join them online on Friday evenings as we start to learn about Carlo Acutis, the teenager who will be made a Saint this April. We meet via Zoom from 8pm-9pm most Fridays (other than First Fridays when we have Maranatha). For any young person interested in joining us, a parent/guardian can register their interest by emailing donabateparishcm@gmail.com
Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock 2025 – Save the date! – The Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Saturday 26th April. More details to follow.
Weekly Contemplate Prayer groups – Come and join our weekly contemplative prayer groups in the library room of Donabate parish hall (little room to right hand side of main door of parish hall):
Tuesday evenings: 7pm-8pm (must be 18+)
Friday mornings: 7am-7:25am (must be 18+, or else be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
Prayers for the Holy Souls in Purgatory every Friday after the 1
Tap & Donate – Thank you to all who use the Tap & Donate contributing to the First & Share collections.
The amount collected for January and February 2025 was €784.
The Family Offering for February 2025 amounted to €4326. Thank you all for your support.
Swap Shop & Repair Café Donabate Portrane Community Centre 1-4pm on Saturday 22nd March. Max 5 Items per person. Bring Clean, wearable clothes and accessories for all ages and receive tokens to swap for something new.
Donabate Memory Café at the Donabate Portrane Community Centre on the last Wednesday of Each Month 11am to 1pm.
Memory Café this coming Wednesday 26th March.
