Divine Mercy Novena – The Divine Mercy Novena runs from Good Friday to Divine Mercy Sunday (2nd Sunday of Easter). We are encouraged to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet each day of the Novena.

Divine Mercy Sunday 27 April, will be celebrated in Donabate Church commencing with Confessions at 2.30pm followed by the Divine Mercy Prayer and Mass will be celebrated at 3pm. Divine Mercy Devotion at 3pm in St Cronan’s Church, Brackenstown, Swords followed by Mass at 5pm.

Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock Saturday 26 April 2025 has been cancelled as a mark of respect following the death of Pope Francis. RIP.

Canonisation of Carlo Acutis postponed – following the death of Pope Francis the Vatican has postponed the canonisation of blessed Carlo Acutis which was scheduled to take place this Sunday. We will keep you informed when an alternative date is set.

Girls School Service of Light will be celebrated this Monday evening 28th April at 7.00pm in Donabate Church.
Girls School Confirmation will be celebrated this coming Friday 2nd May at 11am in Donabate Church. The parish welcome the children as they come to be sealed with the Holy Spirit. We wish them all a wonderful day of celebration. There will no 10am Mass on Friday morning.

Maranatha – our May Maranatha reflection event takes place on Friday next, 2nd May, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm in St. Patrick’s Church and will also be broadcast on our parish webcam (https://churchmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-donabate ). This month we’ll be remembering in a special way those studying, preparing for, and undertaking 3rd level and professional exams and assessments. As always, we remember in a special way all our young people at Maranatha as well as bringing our own intentions. If there is anyone you would like remembered at Maranatha this month, please email the names to myam.admin@gmail.com by next Wednesday if possible.

Weekly Contemplate Prayer groups – Come and join our weekly contemplative prayer groups in the library room of Donabate parish hall (little room to right hand side of main door of parish hall):
Tuesday evenings: 7pm-8pm (must be 18+)
Friday mornings: 7am-7:25am (must be 18+, or else be accompanied by a parent/guardian)

Get to know Carlo – a Saint in his teens – Donabate youth group invite young people aged 13-18 to join them online on Friday evenings as we start to learn about Carlo Acutis, the teenager due to be canonised as a Saint this year. We meet via Zoom from 8pm-9pm most Fridays (other than First Fridays when we have Maranatha). For any young person interested in joining us, a parent/guardian can register their interest by emailing donabateparishcm@gmail.com

Young Adult Bible Study We would like to invite new members to join our  Young Adult Faith Fellowship. This is a faith formation group and is an opportunity to connect with other local young adults in a community of faith. We hope to grow in our faith together through bible studies, spiritual events, prayer, socialising and reflecting together. The group meets every Wednesday evening and is open to anyone aged 18-30. If you would like more info or would like to be added to the Whatsapp group to be kept up to date please get in touch with Sarah at donabateparishya@gmail.com

Prayers for the Holy Souls in Purgatory every Friday after the 10am Mass. All welcome.

Tap & Donate – Thank you to all who use the Tap & Donate contributing to the First & Share collections.
The amount collected for January and February 2025 was €784.

The Family Offering for March 2025 amounted to €4820. Thank you all for your support.

Donabate Memory Café at the Donabate Portrane Community Centre on the last Wednesday of Each Month 11am to 1pm.
