Thank you to all who contributed to the Lay Ministry Collection, the amount collected was €440.
Catholic Class Confirmation will be celebrated on Friday 23 May at 5pm. The parish welcome the children as they come to be sealed with the Holy Spirit. We wish them a wonderful day of celebration.
Catholic Class First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Saturday 24 May at 11am. The parish welcome the children to the table of the Lord.
The St. Vincent de Paul will hold a church gate collection this weekend. Your support will be very much appreciated.
Exam Prayer Space – Our Exam Prayer Space is located on our youth notice board at the back of Donabate Church where we invite you to write your name, or the name of anyone you know who is studying/taking exams at this time. We also encourage parishioners to pray for our students at this time.
Donabate Teen Youth Group – Our teen youth group is starting the Alpha course this May at our online youth group sessions on Friday evenings from 8-9pm via Zoom. If there are any teens who’d like to join us, you’d be more than welcome. A parent/guardian can register their interest by emailing: donabateparishcm@gmail.com
Upcoming Diocesan courses – Information evening Mon 26th May – Dublin Diocese will be commencing new terms of two of their courses – the Diocesan Catechist Certificate Course and Pathways – this Autumn. As booking commences they are holding an information evening for both courses on Mon 26th May at 7:30pm in St. Paul’s church Arran Quay. Novena to the Sacred Heart. A nine day novena prayer to the Sacred Heart will commence this coming Friday 30th May. The novena prayer will be prayed each morning during the 10am Mass until Friday 6th June. Prayer leaflets are available in the Church.

Weekly Contemplate Prayer groups – Come and join our weekly contemplative prayer groups in the library room of Donabate parish hall (little room to right hand side of main door of parish hall):
Tuesday evenings: 7pm-8pm (must be 18+)
Friday mornings: 7am-7:25am (must be 18+, or else be accompanied by a parent/guardian)

Young Adult Bible Study We would like to invite new members to join our Young Adult Faith Fellowship. This is a faith formation group and is an opportunity to connect with other local young adults in a community of faith. We hope to grow in our faith together through bible studies,spiritual events, prayer, socialising and reflecting together. The group meets every Wednesday evening and is open to anyone aged 18-30.
