Maranatha – Our September Maranatha events takes place on Friday next, 6th September, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm in St. Patrick’s Church and will also be broadcast on our parish webcam ( https://churchmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-donabate ). As always, we remember in a special way all our young people at Maranatha as well as bringing our own intentions. Family Mass & Blessing of School Bags – Sat 7th September – Our next Family Mass will take place at the 6.30pm Mass on Saturday, 7th September, in Donabate Church and will include a blessing of school bags to mark the beginning of the new school year. We would be delighted if families can participate on the 7th. Please spread the word. Any families wishing to participate in the Family Mass next Saturday can register their interest by emailing donabateparishcm@gmail.com
Autumn Alpha courses – it’s still not too late to join us for our Autumn Alpha courses on Tuesdays in the parish hall. The Alpha Parenting Children course from 12noon to 1pm and The Alpha Film Series from 8pm to 9:15. For more details or to register email: crossparishalpha@gmail.com
Children marking Season of Creation – During the Season of Creation (from 1 September until 4 October) we are inviting children to create artwork of their favourite animals or the natural world, or, to write a prayer thanking God for the animals and the natural world. The artwork and prayers will be displayed around St. Patrick’s Church, and some of the prayers will be read at Masses or other prayer events during the Season. The artwork and/or prayers can be handed into the parish office, on into the sacristy, of placed in the dedicated box in Donabate church or emailed to donabateparishcm@gmail.com
CROSSCARE ANNUAL COLLECTION will be held on the weekend of 14th & 15th September. It will replace the Share collection. Your support will be very much appreciated.
Sunday 22nd September is Diocesan Safeguarding Sunday. The theme for this year is ‘A Safe and Welcoming Church for Children and Vulnerable Adults. A Safe and Welcoming Church is the name given to the new child safeguarding policy for the Catholic Church in Ireland, which was launched in June of this year.

Call for more Eucharistic Adorers – Fridays We are blessed in this parish to have Eucharistic Adoration in Donabate Church each Friday, currently from 12noon to 4:30pm. This is such a special opportunity to come and spend some quiet time with the Lord. As our team of regular adorers is small, we would love if more people could commit to spending some time each Friday with the Lord. If you can commit to 30 minutes or more each Friday between 12noon and 4:30pm please contact the parish office.

Saturday Vigil 6pm; Sunday 9am; 11am & 5:30pm
Holy Days Vigil 7:30pm and 10am with the exception of Ash Wednesday when there is no Vigil Mass but an evening Mass at 7:30pm.
Wednesday Flower Friends – Meet in Parish Hall, Wednesday morning @ 10.00am to 11.30 approx. We are a group that get together to do some flower arranging and have a cuppa. No experience required just a willingness to try. Why not come along on the 11th September and have a chat or contact Maura 0872242215.

St Cronan’s Parish scripture study group will commence an 8-class study of St John’s Gospel on 30th September. Classes will be on Mondays, 7.30 to 8.30 pm in St. Cronan’s Pastoral Centre, Brackenstown. All welcome and there is no charge.
Bayside Alpha are hosting on Zoom Bishop Barron’s 6 week film series ‘Conversion – Following the Call of Christ’, starting on Sunday the 15th of September from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Bishop Barron illuminates six biblical stories of conversion, demonstrating how six ordinary people were met by Jesus where they were and called to a better life through Him. Donabate Memory Café held the last Wednesday of each Month in the Donabate Community Centre, 11am – 1pm. The Memory Café includes information talks, music, games and refreshments. Memory Café will be held this coming Wednesday 26 June, 11am to 1pm. All welcome.
