Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes – September 4th to 9th

Each year the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage endeavours to bring 170 sick pilgrims to Lourdes, at a cost of €1000 per pilgrim. This is a hugely positive  experience for the sick pilgrims, Spiritually, Emotionally and Physically.  It also provides valuable respite for their families and carers at home. Pilgrims are asked to contribute €490 towards their fare but many cannot afford this.

This weekend, June 22nd/23rd, you are invited to contribute to the Lourdes Associate Membership Appeal. A collection will be held after ALL the masses.

Thank you for your support.

“Donabate parish youth group is currently seeking more youth leaders so that we can offer more activities in the parish. If you’re aged 18-30 and would be interested in helping out email: ”

Parish welcome teams – a massive thank you to those who are already involved in our    welcome teams at the weekend Masses, however, we’d love to see more parishioners getting involved too! Being part of a welcome team simply involves arriving 15 minutes before Mass and handing out the newsletters and children’s activity sheets. The more people who are involved the less often anyone will be scheduled! If you think you might be able to help us on a weekly, monthly or even ad-hoc basis, give your contact details into the parish office (phone: 8434 574 email: ) Note: any under 18’s who might be interested in getting involved, please give parent/guardian contact details too.”

Please join us on Sunday after 11 Mass at Our Lady’s Altar to pray the Rosary.

Eucharistic Adoration is held every Friday evening 6.30 – 7.30 in Donabate Church.  This is an opportunity to take time out of our busy lives for silent prayer in the company of Jesus our Lord.
