The Annual St Vincent de Paul Church collection will be held next weekend 10/11  December.  Your support will be very much appreciated.

A Christmas Carol and Reflection   Service will be held on Thursday 8     December at 7.30 pm.  Tickets are  available at the parish office.                             Cost €5 p/p, Family ticket €10.

Christmas Mass Bouquet Cards    depicting the three churches are available from the Parish Office and the Mass intentions will be included at all our Christmas Masses.  They make a beautiful Christmas gift and the cost per cards is €5.

Christmas Raffle tickets available at the parish office during the coming week.  Proceeds from the raffle will go towards future parish developments.


Maranatha – our December Maranatha hour of song, reflection and prayers in the presence of the blessed sacrament, will take place on Friday next, 2nd  December, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm in St. Patrick’s Church and will also be broadcast on our parish webcam ( ). As always, we remember in a special way all our young people at Maranatha as well as bringing all our own intentions. If there is anyone you would like remembered at Maranatha this month, please email the names to by next Thursday if possible.

Youth2000 Christmas Retreat – The Youth2000 Christmas retreat will take place from Fri 9th – Sun 11th of December in Newbridge College, Newbridge, Co Kildare. Open to those aged 16-35. Including Excellent Speakers, Inspiring Talks &      Workshops, Fantastic music, Group activities, Youth Masses, Adoration,           Reconciliation, prayer, Drama, Games & plenty of time to chill out, meet new people and find out what it means to be young & Catholic today!! *Note: this event is run by the organisation Youth2000 – it is not a parish or Diocesan event, therefore the parish has not  undertaken any assessment of safeguarding arrangements in terms of under 18’s attending the retreat.

Donabate youth group – We are currently welcoming new members to join our parish youth group – an opportunity to connect with other young people to share views and discuss life questions, to learn more about faith, to listen to inspirational music, to have opportunities for reflection.

Our youth group currently meets online, on Friday evenings, and is open to those from 1st to 6th year of  secondary school. For more details  contact the parish youth leaders either via the parish office ( ) or via


World Youth Day – Lisbon 2023 – the next World Youth Day, where young people from all over the world come together with the Pope to     celebrate faith, will take place in Lisbon, Portugal from 1-6 August 2023. Dublin Diocese are currently starting to make their preparations to bring a group to this very special event. The event will be open to those aged 16 to 29.      Anyone interested in travelling to World Youth Day next year with others from the parish, or in finding out more, please contact the parish youth leaders via


Webinar on overcoming anxiety – The New Springtime Community are hosting a full day, online webinar, on Saturday 3rd December, called “Overcoming Anxiety: A Psycho-Spiritual Approach”. The webinar will include speakers, discussion groups, Q&A and ministry/prayer time. Cost is €10. For more details and to book see:
