BE NOT AFRAID, MARY                                                                  A one day Conference on Our Lady   entitled ‘BE NOT AFRAID, MARY’ will be held next Saturday January 20th in ALL HALLOWS Drumcondra from 9.30am to 5pm. The programme will include Mass and Confessions. The Family Offering Envelopes for this year are due to commence on Sunday  4 February.  Envelopes are now ready for distribution and we ask all who help with delivering the boxes to call to the Parish Office to collect them.  We thank you for your help.

On Sunday 4 February we will have a Mass of Remembrance for all children who died before or after birth, recently or in the distant past.  A special book of remembrance is available in front of the Altar and we invite and encourage you to enter the name of your child in the book.

As the World Meeting of Families is  taking place in Dublin during the month of August, there will be a Mass with Pope Francis and various workshops throughout the time of his visit.  We are looking for volunteers to help organise groups who would like to attend the Mass and workshops.  Please give your name to Fr. Pat Reilly or to the Parish Office.

Donabate Ceilí Group meet every Monday at 8.30 – 10 pm in the Donabate Portrane Community Centre.  We would love to see new members join in 2018.

Active Age Line Dancing on Mondays at 1 – 2 pm in the Donabate Portrane Community Centre.  We would be delighted to see new members in 2018.  It is a fun way to get fit and meet new friends.

Dublin. Anam Cara North Dublin offers a safe and comfortable      setting where you can ‘drop the mask’ and be yourself among people who understand. Just a reminder that  Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament   continues every Friday from 6.30 to 7.30. It is an hour of silent prayer. We see it as an invitation and opportunity to pray for peace in our families, our country and the world. You are welcome to come for the whole hour or for a shorter period.

Adoration of the Blessed Eucharist is held weekly in all three churches in the parish as follows:   St. Ita’s, Portrane – Wednesday 1-2 pm

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Balheary- Friday 5-6 pm

St. Patrick’s Donabate – Friday 6.30-7.30 pm.

The Donabate / Portrane Senior Citizens Social Club and Day Centre is open to all people of the parish over the age of 50.  We open every Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM – 1 PM in the Parish Hall.  We regularly hold events and have at least one outing a month.  All are welcome.  If you need transport to the Day Centre, please phone Mary on :  087 230 0496.
