Explore a programme in spirituality in Lumen – Dominican Centre, Blackrock: This two year part-time Certificate programme runs on Thursday evenings and six Saturdays to start 27 September 2018.  It is exciting and inspiring. St. Vincent de Paul Clothing Appeal for clean good quality clothes, bedclothes and curtains.  Bags will be available at the church doors on Saturday/Sunday 28/29 July for you to take home and return to the church for the weekend of 4/5 August.  St. Vincent de Paul will collect all bags on that weekend, please do not leave bags into the church after the 4/5 August.  Thank you for your ongoing support.

Eucharistic Adoration is held every Friday evening 6.30 – 7.30 in Donabate Church.  This is an opportunity to take time out of our busy lives for silent prayer in the company of Jesus our Lord.


Bright Sparks Montessori & Preschool, Donabate Community Centre are opening an afternoon class from 12.30-.30pm.

Volunteers Urgently Needed!  Donabate Brownies and Ladybirds are urgently seeking new Unit Helpers and Leaders. If you enjoy working with young girls, and you can spare even an hour a week, we would love to hear from you.  We meet every Tuesday evening, from 6.15-7.30 in Donabate Parish Hall. Donabate Ceilí Group meet every Monday at 8.30 – 10 pm (September – May) in the Donabate Portrane Community Centre.  We would love to see new members join. ******************************************************************************

Active Age Line Dancing on Mondays at 1 – 2 pm in the Donabate Portrane Community Centre.  We would be delighted to see new members in 2018.  It is a fun way to get fit and meet new friends.

Adoration of the Blessed Eucharist is held weekly in all three churches in the parish as follows:   St. Ita’s, Portrane – Wednesday 1-2 pm

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Balheary- Friday 5-6 pm

St. Patrick’s Donabate – Friday 6.30-7.30 pm.      


The Donabate / Portrane Senior Citizens Social Club and Day Centre is open to all people of the parish over the age of 50.  We open every Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM – 1 PM in the Parish Hall.  We regularly hold events and have at least one outing a month.  All are welcome.  If you need transport to the Day Centre, please phone Mary on :  087 230 0496.
