A celebration of First Penance will be held in Donabate Church at 11 am Saturday 21 March for St. Patrick’s Boys School.


Tuesday 17 March is the feast of St. Patrick.  Mass will be celebrated in Portrane Church at 9.30, Donabate at 11 and Balheary at 11.30.


“Lent 2020: We invite you to join us for one or more of our Lenten activities this year including linking the Sunday Gospels to a call for Care for our Common home, a Lenten book club, gentle reflection on Scripture and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 12.00 to 8.30 on each Friday of Lent. Meals on Wheels – Volunteer Drivers within the Donabate area.  We are trying to organise a reserved drivers list to step in occasionally when our regular drivers are unavailable.  If you interested in helping out please contact Deborah 086 8276555.


Eucharistic Adoration is held every Friday evening 6.30 – 7.30 in Donabate Church.  This is an opportunity to take time out of our busy lives for silent prayer in the company of Jesus our Lord.

Céilí Dancing –  Monday night at 8.30 – 10 pm (from September – May) in Donabate Portrane Community Centre.  New members very welcome. Céilí dancing is great fun and an enjoyable way to get fit.  Cost:  €5.


Bingo every Thursday night at 8.30-10.30 in Donabate Portrane Community Centre.
