Eucharistic Adoration during Lent.

“As we mentioned last week we hope to arrange for Eucharistic Adoration during the Fridays of Lent from 12 to 8.30.

In order to ensure there will always be someone present during this time you are invited to consider committing for a 1/2 hour at some time during the day.

There are people available at the Church doors to take your names for the 1/2 hour of your choice.”

Parish welcome teams – a massive thank you to those who are already involved in our     welcome teams at the weekend Masses, however, we’d love to see more parishioners getting involved too! Being part of a welcome team simply involves arriving 15 minutes before Mass and handing out the newsletters and children’s activity sheets. The more people who are involved the less often anyone will be scheduled! If you think you might be able to help us on a weekly, monthly or even ad-hoc basis, give your contact details into the parish office (phone: 8434 574 email: stpatricksrcdonabate@gmail.com ) Note: any under 18’s who might be interested in getting involved, please give parent/guardian contact details too.”

Mottos for Success

Many people become so discouraged by their mistakes and failures that they lower their sights or stop trying altogether.  But when someone comes along and expresses faith in them and tells them they shouldn’t be bound by yesterdays’s failures, it can inspire them to try again.
