The Diocesan Collection for the  Dublin Council of theSociety of St. Vincent de Paul will be held at all Masses this weekend.  It will replace the Share collection.  Your support will be very much appreciated.

Donabate teen music sessions – we’re back to our Monday nights again with our next session taking place this Monday 10th December from 7:30-8:30pm in the parish hall library room. Come along and join us for a fun evening of uplifting music!”

Christmas Dues may be handed in during the coming week.


A Christmas Mass Bouquet Card with photographs of our 3 churches is available in the parish office for the cost of €5.  It is a lovely gift to give to family and friends at Christmas.  All monies raised will go towards our new roof fund.


A Christmas Raffle in aid of the new Church roof will be held during our Carol Concert on Sunday 9 December.  First Prize €1,000, Second Prize €500 and five prizes of €100. Please return tickets to the Parish Office during the coming week.  Thank you.


Christmas Carol Concert  – Sunday 9     December at 7 pm in Donabate Church.  The concert will feature Carols from The Adult Church Choir, Donabate Boys & Girls School Choirs and the Family Mass Children’s Choir.  Tickets €10 p/p or a Family Ticket for €20.   Tickets available in the parish office.  All monies raised will be go towards the roof fund.  Tickets are available at the Parish Office.


Our Annual November Bereavement Mass for those who died during the year will be celebrated in Donabate Church this Sunday 25 November at 5 pm.

Crosscare Annual Parish Food Appeal – Archbishop Martin is once again seeking support for a Parish Food Appeal next weekend December 1st to  support the work of the Crosscare Foodbanks.  Food may be dropped into the church during the coming week.  Items most needed are Toilitries/Cleaning productions, Non-perishable food & Festive Foods.

Please join us on Sunday after 11 Mass at Our Lady’s Altar to pray the Rosary.


Eucharistic Adoration is held every Friday evening 6.30 – 7.30 in Donabate Church.  This is an opportunity to take time out of our busy lives for silent prayer in the company of Jesus our Lord.

Céilí Dancing –  Monday night at 8.30 – 10 pm (from September – May) in Donabate Portrane Community Centre.  New members very welcome. Céilí dancing is great fun and an enjoyable way to get fit.  Cost:  €5.


Active Age Line Dancing on Mondays at 1 – 2 pm in the Donabate Portrane Community Centre.  We would be delighted to see new members in 2018.  It is a fun way to get fit and meet new friends.


Baby cardigans   knitted by a local lady for sale in the parish office in aid of the Church  roof repairs.  Cost €10.

Adoration of the Blessed Eucharist is held weekly in all three churches in the parish as follows:   St. Ita’s, Portrane – Wednesday 1-2 pm

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Balheary- Friday 5-6 pm

St. Patrick’s Donabate – Friday 6.30-7.30 pm.      


The Donabate / Portrane Senior Citizens Social Club and Day Centre is open to all people of the parish over the age of 50.  We open every Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM – 1 PM in the Parish Hall.  We regularly hold events and have at least one outing a month.  All are welcome.  If you need transport to the Day Centre, please phone Mary on :  087 230 0496.
